Juha Lösönen to lead the financial advisory practice

Alder strengthens its service offering related to transactions and corporate restructuring and brings to the market a fully integrated service portfolio, covering financial, tax and legal advisory, as the first independent operator outside the large audit firms.

With our expertise, we want to support the growth and long-term success of our clients. Successful M&A and other structural arrangements play a central role in the development of the business and value creation for the owners. Our experienced advisors are able to provide in-depth expertise and practical support to our clients, from structural planning to due diligence processes, contract negotiations and the successful implementation of the integration,” says Johanna Kannisto, Partner responsible for the Alder Transactions business area.

As part of strengthening the service offering related to transactions, Juha Lösönen has been appointed to lead the financial advisory practice as of August 12, 2024. Juha has previously worked at EY as a Director and also has experience from in-house finance positions.

Comprehensive service offering from planning to execution is an integral part of Alder’s DNA, and in the field of M&A we have in the past aimed for this in close cooperation with our partners. With Juha’s involvement, however, we are now able to build fully integrated transaction service capabilities in the areas of financial, tax and legal advisory. We strongly believe that this investment will create significant added value for our growing client base,” Johanna Kannisto continues.

I am excited about this unique opportunity to join in building an independent Nordic transaction practice together with Alder’s other teams and colleagues from Svalner Atlas Group. I look forward to supporting growth-oriented SMEs, private equity investors, industrial serial acquirers and owner-entrepreneurs in their cases after the summer and offering my diverse experience to the benefit of our clients,” says Juha Lösönen when asked about his expectations towards the new challenges.
