KATRI SORSAVIRTA HAS BEEN INVITED TO JOIN ALDER’S PARTNERSHIP AS OF MARCH 2024

Katri Sorsavirta (M.Sc. Econ.), head of our business area serving domestic companies and groups (Alder Domestic), has been invited to become a partner at Alder as of March 2024.

Katri, a known and respected expert in domestic taxation, with over 15 years of previous work experience both at the Finnish Tax Administration and at KPMG, joined Alder in June 2021 in connection with our office opening in Turku.

“In addition to a close-knit work community, another important asset in our operations is a motivated group of partners who work purposefully alongside our staff to ensure the long-term success of our operations. Joining partnership is the most profound form of commitment when it comes to professional career, and that is why I am truly delighted to be able to strengthen our partner group with such an experienced and respected professional like Katri,” says Petteri Rapo, Managing Partner at Alder.

“In line with our recently launched ambitious growth strategy, we will be investing in and significantly expanding our offering for domestic businesses in the coming years. Katri’s approach to work shines through with her consideration for others, presence, and sense of responsibility. Under her leadership, our professionals will be found behind the success stories of many more Finnish companies, and this will open up opportunities for dozens of new top experts to join us and become part of Alder’s story,” Petteri continues.

“I am proud to have had the opportunity to be part of Alder’s journey so far and to contribute to the growth and development of our operations. Together with our clients, I am committed to promoting domestic businesses, as it is a matter close to my heart. My goal as a partner is to create sustainable value for both our clients and Alder’s employees. I am excited about this new phase in my career and look forward to the opportunities it brings,” says Katri about her appointment.

Katri has a broad background in advising domestic companies and groups, particularly in matters of corporate and personal taxation, as well as tax calculation and planning. She has a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Turku and has also completed the HHJ (Approved Board Member) program. In her free time, Katri enjoys spending time by the sea in Naantali with her family and engaging in sports. However, most often, Katri can be found participating in her children’s hobbies, either as an assigned driver or as a supporter.
